Job Description
HSE Advisor is directly responsible to the Offshore Installation
Manager in conjunction with instruction from the HSE Manager.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not restricted to
the following:
Knowledge and promotion of Client HSE Policies and Procedures.
Carrying out Rig Safety Awareness Induction for all new
employees.
Knowledge of the HSE Safety Case.
Giving advice and assistance to the OIM on all matters relating
to HSE.
Development of Safety Procedures and JSA’s.
Carrying out Incident Investigations and completing Reports on
same.
Monitoring of the Permit To Work System.
Carrying out atmospheric testing as and when required by the PTW
system issuing authority.
Carrying out regular workplace inspections.
Carrying out scheduled inspections of all Emergency and Life
Saving Appliances aboard the Rig.
Knowledge of the Rig Emergency Response Plan and Emergency
Procedures.
Complete Daily, Weekly and Monthly HSE Reports.
Carry out Weekly Safety Meetings, record and distribute minutes
of same.
Participation in Company scheduled training and safety
activities.
Running Company HSE Training for fellow workers.
Promotion of Safe Working Practices.
