HSE People - Health and Safety Community

Hi am looking for a helping hand to secure my first health and safety job, having gained a NEBOSH general certificate i am finding it hard to gain employment since been made redundant from the railway as a welder.
I have a HNC in engineering among other qualifications and worked in engineering in various roles from the age of 16 to 26 then worked on the railway as a welder till been made redundant in NOV 2010.
I still have all my fingers and toes and both eyes so i must be doing something right, i just need my first break.
