Provide professional advice, guidance, assistance and support through all stages of the Petrofac Brownfield scope of work, onshore, offshore and to all participating companies, i.e. suppliers of materials, goods and services with regard to the implementation of and adherence to Petrofac Brownfield HS&E plan, Petrofac HS&E policies and procedures and Client/ Petrofac/ Sub-contractor interfacing arrangements.

Job Description

• Provide training, instruction and support to all personnel in relevant areas of HS&E.

• Ensure that all Brownfield personnel are fully aware of client and Petrofac HS&E policies and procedures; specific HS&E plans and agreed interfacing requirements with client and sub-contractors, as appropriate.

• Develop and support implementation of HS&E Plans at all levels of the Brownfield organisation

• Develop and implement HS&E Management system interface documents with clients and subcontractors as required

• Be aware of new or existing HS&E Legislation, Approved Codes of Practice, guidance notes, and Government reports, and draw the attention of the Brownfield Management to any implications for Petrofac Brownfield.

• Promote guidance, advice and understanding and compliance across Petrofac Brownfield with requirements to HS&E requirements for example in Radiation, COSHH, Manual Handling, PPE, DSE, Environmental, Waste Management and Health and Hygiene standards and objectives.

• Implement and support corporate safety training policy as applicable to the needs and requirements of the Contract.

• Monitor modification workpacks to ensure that Risk Assessments have been undertaken to the required standard.

• Plan and ensure that audits/inspections are carried out onshore and offshore to establish that Petrofac meets current legislative requirements, client requirements and its own HS&E targets.

• Plan, assist and participate in Safety Audits of Subcontractors employed by the company and submit written reports to the relevant Project Manager and the Petrofac Brownfield HSEQ Manager.

• Recommend and monitor the use, provision and effectiveness of safety equipment.

• Prepare HS&E communication programmes as required.

• Review incident and accident reports to ensure quality and that fundamental 'cause' issues are both identified and linked to measures to prevent re-occurrence.

• To have in place emergency response procedures that aligns and interfaces with those of Petrofac corporate, client and subcontractors.

• Member of Petrofac emergency response team
