We are urgently seeking a Technical Safety Engineer to work on a Contract basis for a major customer in Norway.

Below are the job specifications:

1) Start date: Immediately/ASAP
2) Location: 2 months in Norway, thereafter 6-2 weeks rotation in Kuala Lumpur and/or Korea
3) Duration: 15-21 months aro - incl. 2 months in Norway
4) Language: English is accepted
5) Additional info: have to be experienced in the offshore industry, preferable North Sea, and the Norsok systems and if you have in addition some experience with Statoil steering documents - that will be an advantage.

General description of the position:

Discipline Head of Technical Safety
- Primary responsibility for coordination of tasks within the technical safety, health and environment
- Follow-up and maintain a good dialogue with other disciplines, to ensure that the design is in
accordance with the requirements of the regulations and governing documents.
- Required good knowledge of Norwegian legislation, NORSOK and Statoil governing documents.
- Prepare and update the overall strategy of documentation.
- Follow up and ensure the quality assurance to the discipline
