Superb international opportunity! Health, Safety, Security and
Environmental (HSSE) Advisor with extensive offshore/marine
experience required for offshore / onshore role based in Norfolk.
My client, a leading marine survey contractor, is part of an
international organisation which operates a fleet of dedicated
support vessels and provides a wide range of integrated marine
science services.
The Role
Reporting to the Health and Safety
Manager / Technical Director, the HSSE Advisor’s time will be
divided between offshore and office, with office duties focussed
on:
· liaison with the variety of management teams
· providing detailed advice and documentary support for
pre-tender questionnaires and project management
· contributing to the company’s International Safety Management
system
Marine responsibilities will include:
· provision of HSSE documentation, inductions, liaison and
guidance for geotechnical vessel mobilisations and
fieldworks
· HSSE support of the geotechnical team and client liaison
· acting as the designated contact and coordinator in the event
of any incidents
Experience and Qualifications
The HSSE
Advisor will:
· have seagoing HSE experience along with a working understanding
of the marine industry
· be capable of attaining required offshore medical and safety
certification
· hold a recognised HSSE qualification (minimum NEBOSH General
Certificate or equivalent)
· be willing to undertake extensive international travel
Salary and Benefits
Basic salary £30,000
plus anticipated allowances c£8000. Company pension scheme
following probationary period.
Please note that the successful applicant will be required to
live in the Norfolk area.
