Hi Everyone,

I have just completed my masters degree in Process Safety and Loss Prevention at the University of Sheffield and am looking for a relevant job at the moment.

I am able to carry out Quantitative Risk Assessment: Hazards Identification; Frequency analysis (mainly FTA, ETA and having an understanding in FMEA); Consequence modelling; Risk Evaluation; and Mitigation, HAZOP, HAZID, Hazardous Area Classification, HTA, Fire and Explosion Analysis and other methods of risk assessment. I am also familiar with the UK safety regulations such as COMAH, DSEAR, COSHH, SIL, ALARP Principles, etc.

My dissertation was about applying Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) to a gas holder at a hydrogen production facility using steam methane reformer process. The gas holder is employed to ensure that the plant has sufficient gas supply so that in the event of outage of methane from the main gas supply, immediate and uncontrolled shut down can be avoided (which can damage plant equipment, instrumentation, piping etc).Hazard identfication, frequency analysis, consequence modelling, risk assessment are involved in the paper.
