Hi HSE People

In looking for ways to cover the costs of this site I have came up with an idea I would like to run by everyone. I dont want to cover the site in banner adds and pop up windows and I dont want to have to charge members.

I am considering offering a online CV creation service where by I will make online CV's like mine www.safetymancv.co.uk for a reasonable fee and then offering a page on HSE People linking to peoples online CVs

This could be a great way of advertising especially if you are self employed or a contract worker. Your online CV would have a domain of your choosing and would be accessed like any other site on the net and not just through HSE People.

Let me know your thoughts and whether this is a service people would use.

I am relatively new to H&S and trying very hard to put my foot in the field. The most difficult part, I found, is selling your-self and a good CV may help a lot. Therefore, I would like to take advantage of this new service you are thinking of providing.

I have put this idea on the back burner for now. I am bussy developing www.oilandgaspeople.com I could still potentialy help with a simple website but you should be aware its pretty easy to create a CV yourself using google sites and its free.
