HSE People - Health and Safety Community

Hi everyone having worked in the construction industry for 20 years i now want to be a hse officer in this field. i know upto a couple of years ago the goverment would employ people as trainee,s but the info is not on there site anymore so can anyone help me to find out what i,ve got to do to get the info i need so i can get the training etc i want. thanks for any help anyone can give me. steve

Hi Steven,
If you are a member of a trade union then you should be able to apply for a course as they run H&S Stage 1,2 & 3. IOSH and COSHH etc.
You have to start with Stage 1.

I've done Stage 1 &2 just about to start Stage3 and go on to IOSH & COSHH.
