Our client is one of the world’s largest and most successful EPC companies undertaking a variety of engineering studies and full completion programmes for clients in the hydrocarbons sector in projects with values in excess of £500M. The company is now looking to recruit a highly capable head to lead a multi discipline team of Process Safety, Fire Protection, Environmental and Noise Control Engineers. The successful candidate will function as a resource manager and technical authority providing technical guidance and steerage to reporting engineers as well as other project and discipline groups. Specific responsibilities will include input into proposals, the assignment of staff to projects, identifying resource needs and recruitment, carrying out technical audits on projects, chairing hazops, resolving project technical issues and coaching, developing and managing staff. The company is looking for a highly experienced and educationally well qualified engineer with a proven track record of HSE/safety engineering leadership acquired within the oil and gas market.
