We are now looking to recruit a HSE Advisor for a offshore position in Norway you will need to be Fluent in Norwegian and English to apply

who will be working with key teams and contractors for driving a number of integrated initiatives in order to improve the HSE culture and performance at site. Dimensions The position will report to the HSE lead and support the Plant projects team HSE agenda in line with the key accountabilities defined below. This position is one of 2 HSE positions based on rotation (14 on -14 days off). The projects / construction team is responsible for executing a diverse portfolio of new and modification projects utilizing key frame contractors (Skanska & Aker). Total number of personnel on site varies from 100-500. Accountabilities · Coaching various teams · Carry out HSE inspections · Facilitate HSE meetings · Support line in the daily HSE work (advising, coaching) · Conduct inspections e.g. Permit to Work (PtW) system · Participate in Safe Job Analysis (SJA) and Toolbox Talks · Perform verifications on the project e.g. HSE activity plan · Contribute to a positive HSE culture, RUH reporting, · Identify and follow-up improvement actions associated with conditions, behaviours, and incidents · Participate in incident investigations · Follow-up of the HSE work conducted by the onsite contractors and subcontractors · Participate in HSE meetings (shift coordinator meeting, PtW meeting, etc.) Special challenges · Service minded, constructive and positive · Actively work to establish and maintain an open and strong culture of HSE within the project and at site. · Effectively intervene and react on unsafe behavior. · Working onsite with various parallel projects within the premises of a “hot” gas plant. Qualifications (Education/Experience/Competence/Skills) Primary: · Excellent “people skills” i.e. strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with the ability to engage, motivate and coach staff · A demonstrated passion and drive for HSE. A proven HSE track record. Secondary: · Degree in Science/Engineering or in HSE. 5+ years of experience, preferably in a site-based HSE position. · A good working knowledge of HSE regulatory requirements · Fluent in Norwegian and English
