HSE People - Health and Safety Community

Hi There; does anyone have any experiences (good or bad) of joining from what I can tell are the two main professional bodies for H&S professionals in the UK? The two I mean have four and five letters in their acronyms the latter one has 'international' in its name; whereas the former has a chartered level of membership. I am unhappy with the one and I am considering joining the other.
