SafetyGARD is a unique and innovative equipment is designed to be retrofitted to existing trailers and is installed by the driver at ground level. Its design is a simple post arrangement, allowing for the installation of restraint cables which are pre-tensioned by the use of a winch, all from ground level. This provides a secure barrier and restraint for the operator.
Access to the trailer is made by custom designed ladders which are stowed for road transport and are safely deployed to ensure safe access and egress; these are positioned at both the front and rear of the trailer to ensure flexibility of operation when loading the trailer.Requests have been made to supply this equipment on new orders from the original equipment manufacturers who fail to recognise the importance of providing a safe system of working and do not meet the 2005 working at height regulations.
