David is a globally recognised practitioner assisting organisations transform their safety towards worlds best practice. He achieves these goals via application of the Transformational Safety Model. In a past life David was a Metallurgist prior to embarking upon a career in applied psychology. He is one of the very few Safety Psychologists in the World who has an industrial background which comes in very handy indeed.

In Oct 2008 David was involved in a near fatal accident that resulted in over 24 fractures and a fair bit of Titanium. He has literally been screwed back together. David has recently presented the Keynote Address at the Safety Institute of Australia Conference which draws heavily upon that experience within a risk and safety framework. The Presentation was entitled "Oh !@#$!, Where'd that come from?"
