HSE People - Health and Safety Community

I have been in the Health, Safety, and Environment world for my entire professional career. I started life as an Ergonomics Consultant after obtaining my BSc in Human Factors Engineering from Wright State University in Dayton, OH.

In 2000, I joined Cooper Standard Automotive and have split my duties in half. I am the corporate ergonomics manager for all 72 of our facilities around the world. At the same time, I've designed and implemented all of our data management systems including systems to manage: Training, Incidents, Waste, Energy, Materials Safety Data Sheets, and improvement teams.

At the beginning of 2009 I started my own business on the side to develop an affordable information management system. CoreHSE.com - which I will be releasing at the end of the summer - will revolutionize the HSE industry. No longer will robust reporting and data management capabilities be limited to companies able to shoulder a huge yearly cost. CoreHSE.com will be available to anyone for a small yearly subscription fee. Without the need to maintain software, servers, or databases, our clients will be able to focus on their jobs.
