Personal Statement



In essence I truly enjoy H&S and have actively been involved in H&S for over 15 years when including my time as a union rep.

I do beleive some of the industry is blinkered in regards to qualifications v's experience ( but that's probably because i do not have a diploma lol).

MY take on H&S in regards to my current position is that i am here to improve the day to day H&S for both the employee's and the business. My view is that if we hurt somebody and it is our fault then they deserve whatever they get (Compensation wise)


Since working at TSF i have developed a range of Safe Systems OF Work, standard Operating procedures and Risk Assessments, I have also created a Risk registar accross the shopfloor which has been very benficial to name but a few.

at present i am interested in management systems such as HSG65.

My biggest weakness is not inderstanding management speak ( I am also under the impression that a lot of Mangers dont understand it but they can talk it)

Ideally i would like this site to be open and honest with all members or visitors thoughts and ideas being traeted respectfully.

I do not pretend to know everything but i can certainly find the answers or may know somebody who does.

I will help anyone i can, i have a wealth of resources which i am happy to distribute especially to anyone who is new to their H&S role
