About
I have worked in many industries over the years from the armed forces to a large scale LNG Construction project. My career has not always been in Health & Safety but I developed my interest through a trade union whilst working for BP Oil UK Ltd in Swansea. I represented the workforce and learnt how to deal with safety issues with management. Since then, I have moved on and have progressed into management dealing with issues raised by the workforce and working on remedial actions, in order to improve the workplace.
I am a highly motivated, versatile, conscientious and dependable individual, that looks after clients interests with a work style that is geared toward anticipating situations and providing solutions before they become problems. I have a track record of encouraging high standards in Health and Safety from all personnel.
I am passionate about safety, and have the leadership skills to deal with all levels of workforce and management.
I am a good communicator, always remain calm under pressure, and have the ability to solve problems.
I am committed to continuous improvement and able to work on my own initiative or as part of a team. I have supervisory and management experience with good interpersonal skills and the ability to drive myself and others forward. I am enthusiastic, loyal, and motivated and along with my other skills and knowledge allow me to carry out my job in an efficient and professional manner.
