About
left school at 16 and became a mechanical & production engineer gaining an HNC and NVQ 4 at a large tractor plant. worked on the steel works as a fitter/roller for a few years, then moved into food production as a supervisor/fitter. For the last 10 years have worked on the railway both networkrail and london underground all over the country as a thermic/arc welder, stressing engineer, welding inspector, and inspector of cast crossings (so54) before been made redundant in Nov 2010. Have now decided to take a risk and retrain in H&S by studying for a NEBOSH general certificate
