Heartfelt tributes have been paid to a “hero” dock worker who died after a tragic accident in Rosyth.

Miguel Watt was rushed to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary on Friday morning after suffering a serious injury at the Fife yard, but tragically passed away a short time later.

The 23-year-old electrician was described as an “amazing and gorgeous young man” in poignant messages posted online as family members and friends described their “devastation”.

Pals remembered him as “an absolute gent” who “left a lasting impression on anyone who met him” after hearing news of his tragic passing.
