Fire Safety Manager - £45k + 10% Car Allowance + Package – Home Based – Property Management

Principal People are pleased to be working exclusively with a leading Property Management organisation, looking to source an experienced Fire Safety Manager to work with them on a permanent basis. This is a home-based position covering sites across the South of England.

Taking responsibility for the strategic development of the Fire Safety function, the successful candidate will take the lead across all fire safety queries and concerns whilst supporting the Fire Safety Officer.

Core responsibilities will include:

  • Writing fire safety strategies
  • Providing fire safety advice
  • Writing fire specifications
  • Quality checking fire safety on new build development sites
  • Investigating accidents and carrying out inspections regarding fire safety

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold a NEBOSH Fire or equivalent as a minimum
  • Be a member of the IFE (desirable)
  • Possess experience of managing fire safety within a property related environment
  • Have a good knowledge of compartmentation in buildings
  • Understand type 1-4 fire risk assessments
  • Have a positive and calm approach
