Job Description

Activus Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Health and Safety Advisor in Oldmeldrum Aberdeenshire, on behalf of our client who specialises in the Construction Industry. The candidate will be required to provide HSE advise to staff and ensure the company policies and procedures are compliant with statutory requirements.

Candidate Duties:

• Providing health, safety, and environmental advice to staff

• Preparation of health and safety documentation including risk assessments, method statements and construction phase plans.

• Carrying out inspections and site visits

• Identifying training requirements and booking relevant training.

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements

• Development of HSE policies and procedures

• Maintenance and development of HSE systems

• Attend meetings with the client

• Any other ad-hoc task required

Candidate Requirements:

• NEBOSH Certificate

• Member of IOSH

• Experience in a similar role

• Knowledge of the construction industry

• Excellent Organisational skills

• Problem Solving

• Excellent Communication & Presentation Skills
