As our teams grow, we are on the lookout for our next Health and Safety Manager based at our site in Hendon with our Regional Sites in Milton Keynes, Manchester, Bath, and St. Albans.
Every day is different at The Bread Factory, but here are some of the things you will be doing:
To develop and implement a SHE action plan for the Site to drive a Health & Safety culture across the business and ensure full compliance with legislation and Environmental standards.
Developing and recommending policies, standards, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with H&S and Environmental legislation and site standards.

BSc or above professional qualification in Food Safety or a similar field
Level 3 HACCP or Higher (Required)
Auditor Qualification (Lead Auditor preferred).
A detailed understanding of retailer codes of practice and experience in implementing them across production sites.
Experience in High Care Facilities (required)
Experience in Bakery or Ambient products (desirable)
Training in root cause analysis methods and tools
Experience in leading BRCGS and Regulatory Audits.
Influencing Senior Leadership Team to drive improvement.
Managing and Supporting Hygiene improvement plans.
Train the trainer.
Understanding and Interpretation of Microbiological Results.
Proficient in Microsoft packages, especially Excel
