Fantastic opportunity to join a growing and rapidly developing organisation based in Central Belt, Scotland. The company have gone from strength to strength following mergers and are now looking for a Health & Safety Manager to lead the company’s Health & Safety programme.
The company operate across a number of sectors working closely with client organisations to provide services in the safety and security sector and continue to grow throughout the UK.
Reporting to the Managing Director the role will be to manage the Health & Safety function and team providing support, advice and strategic direction ensuring strong systems and compliance across the organisation.
Key to the success of this role will be building trust and strong lines of communication with key stakeholders and employees across the business. This will include providing training and presentations as well as ensuring safe processes are in place for equipment use and providing practical solutions to minimise risk.
Candidates will have a proven track record of working across multi-site organisations, managing a small team and be familiar with areas such as auditing, construction, method statements site investigation or reporting. Familiarity with management systems would be advantageous.
The role will involve travel and candidates should be flexible where required and ideally have a NEBOSH Diploma within a construction setting or a related industry where construction features as a skill.
