This opportunity for a Health & Safety Manager will be to ensure the company is compliant as well as proactively supporting and working towards excellence across all areas of the business. The company has various sites across the UK including field operations servicing a variety of clients.
The role will ensure that a robust program of audit, risk assessment and inspections are in place with appropriate records and documentation in place as well as building strong relationships across the business with key stakeholders to raise awareness and the profile of Health, Safety and Environment.
This is a stand-alone role so candidates should be able to demonstrate experience of managing a Health & Safety function across a disparate business as well as managing multi-site. The role reports to the CFO and candidates should have good communication skills working with shop floor and senior management.
Candidates should be self-motivated, able to work autonomously and manage their own diary as well as being qualified ideally to NEBOSH Diploma level with additional qualifications such as Lead Auditor or experience of ISO systems such as 9001 and distinct advantage. Travel will be required so a flexible approach will be required.
There is an option with this role for a 4 day working week.
