Menstruation and menopause are natural and significant phases in a woman’s life. However, the experiences associated with these biological processes can have a profound impact on women’s well-being, including their physical, emotional, and mental health. Recognising and supporting women with menstruation and menopause in the workplace is not only an essential aspect of gender equality but also crucial for fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment. In this article, we will explore the importance of providing support and accommodations to women during these stages of their lives.
We are looking into how menstruation and menopause is managed in the workplace and how those impacted are affected. In completing this survey you will be helping us understand real world issues and how employers are addressing such a pertinent issue.
A panel discussion later this summer will reveal our findings and our guest speakers will be talking about their experiences and sharing knowledge.
