EHS Consultant – Ireland – Competitive salary and package

Our client is seeking an EHS Consultant, with significant consulting experience and private-sector client relationships, to play a key role in supporting the operational delivery of their flagship software. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of EHS technical capability and a deep understanding of legislation to help their clients proactively address their EHS compliance. As a consultant, you will be required to undertake EHS legislative audits and assessments for clients, both in Ireland and the UK.


  • Conducting legislative compliance assessments and audits in Ireland and the UK
  • Preparing customised legal registers to clients across a variety of sectors
  • Meeting new clients to identify applicable regulatory requirements
  • Delivering product training to client management teams
  • Reviewing and monitoring legislation to identify key requirements for clients
  • Managing multiple projects within scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensuring quality standards on project deliverables
  • Effectively managing and building client relationships leading to repeat business


Candidate requirements – 

  • At least 5 years consultancy or industry experience within EHS
  • Strong working knowledge of Environmental Health & Safety Legislation and Guidance Documents in Ireland and the UK
  • Experience in compliance auditing
  • Analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • Energy and drive to deliver
  • Planning, organising and work management skills
  • Achievement oriented
  • Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint (or equivalent)
  • Experience in project management and client liaison
  • Clean driving licence



  • BSc degree (or equivalent) within an Engineering or Science discipline is essential, and an additional MSc within a relevant subject would be preferred
  • Membership of IOSH and IEMA is desirable

You must be eligible to work in the EU

The right candidate will receive a salary of €50,000 – €60,000 (depending on experience), pension, flexitime, generous mileage rate and excellent opportunities.
