Regional Sales Manager (PPE Gloves Manufacturer) – USA

Location: Covering CA, NV, AZ, UT and HI

$85K BASE +25% COMMISSION

The Company

An excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing manufacturer of protective gloves as the new Regional Sales Manager, based in the US covering the southwest region (CA, NV, AZ, UT, HI). As the Regional Sales Manager, you will develop and implement; sales plans, promotional campaigns and distribution strategies in the assigned region in order to achieve sales growth goals.

The Role

  • Sells into the assigned region working to exceed growth goals of the product category
  • Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies to drive revenue growth
  • Establish end-user account lists per each account within the assigned market
  • Maintain regular communication with accounts through visits
  • Establish objectives for accounts and review actual achievements per set objectives.
  • Stay ahead of market competition, defending against competitive initiatives
  • Compile data on market pricing of competitors and recommend effective further action
  • Prioritise the development of programs, tools and the support requirements necessary to streamline sales process and organisation.
  • Drive product launches and releases for products through sales channels
  • Maintain an up to date record of the sales pipeline using SalesForce
  • Manage independent sales agents by participating in joint end-user and distribution calls, providing both training and feedback and monitoring results.

The Candidate

  • Possess an in-depth knowledge of sales management techniques – including, selling strategies, merchandising, advertising and inventory management
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or relevant on the job experience
  • Previous experience in managing sales teams
  • Have highly developed persuasion, verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to organise and plan sales & marketing functions in their market segments
  • Computer literate- proficient in the use of MS Office
  • Additional languages would be a plus
  • Effective time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Team player who interacts effectively with employees at all levels
  • Flexible with work schedules and be readily available to work evenings and weekends with or without advance notice.
  • The Regional Sales Manager must travel a minimum of 2 weeks per month.
