HSE People Panel – Neil Fisher – Rail Safety

The HSE People Panel is made up of specialists across different areas who have volunteered to share their insight and experience with the HSE People network.

Neil Fisher is an experienced Health, Safety and Environmental Manager with a proven track record in delivering, maintaining, and improving successful HSE management systems, driving continual improvement in performance, and creating a positive culture change both in the private and public sectors. 

He possesses vast expertise in delivering the vision and strategy for Health Safety and Environment in the complex, fast paced, high risk rail industry. Neil’s current remit covers the day to day HSE Management of a business unit which holds the duty of Principal Contractor. 

Neil has a strong ability to maintain high standards, accurately complete reports, and documentation, meet strict deadlines and engage with staff at all levels to ensure the most efficient, cost effective and compliant systems are in place.

He always ensure that performance expectations are met in line with company policies and guidelines. Neil is an expert in maintaining regulatory compliance, including the implementation of robust standards, policies, and procedures. He has a strong interest in hazards and associated risks, reducing near misses /lost time injury, and improving management systems.

Neil is always keen to make new connections, share best practice and contribute ideas.
